Puree fresh or frozen blackberries with white wine in the blender, then freeze overnight. Once the mixture is the correct consistency, scoop into cocktail glasses and top with ginger ale. Ingredients
3cupsblackberriesfresh or frozen
1cupsauvignon blancor another light white wine
12oz.ginger ale
Instructions
In a blender, puree the blackberries with the white wine until smooth.
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the blackberry-wine mixture into a metal loaf pan.
Once the mixture has been strained and all of the blackberry seeds have been removed, transfer the loaf pan to the freezer. Freeze overnight.
The next day, use a fork to scrape the slush into the proper texture.
Scoop into glasses using an ice cream scoop, then top with ginger ale.
