½cupblueberries
¾cupmaple syrup
Instructions
Combine the blueberries and maple syrup in a small saucepan.
Heat gently and bring the ingredients to a boil.
When the blueberries have softened and burst, turn off the heat.
Pour the syrup into a food processor or a blender, and blend until smooth. Be careful, as this is hot!
Serve over a stack of pancakes or waffles... or your favorite breakfast item.
Notes
How to store: Store the cooled syrup in a mason jar or another airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Reheat when ready to serve.
