Ingredients
1cupall-purpose flour
2cupswhole wheat pastry flour
1tablespoonsgranulated sugar
1tablespoonbaking powder
1teaspoonkosher salt
1teaspoonHerbs de Provence
1 ½teaspoonsdried thyme
1teaspoondried rosemary
1/½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoongarlic powder
1cupextra sharp cheddar cheese
18oz.beer(your choice! whatever's in the fridge...)
Instructions
Heat the oven to 375°F. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick baking spray and line with a parchment paper sling. Set aside.
Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, Herbs de Provence, thyme, rosemary, onion powder, garlic powder and cheddar cheese together in a large mixing bowl.
Slowly stir in the beer and mix until just combined.
Spread the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake until golden brown and a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean, about 60 minutes.
